after playing classic Doom after Quake I can say I think Doom is more iconic because Quake is so much more methodical and less constantly blowing dudes up like Doom is, I like both a lot but I can see why some don't. I feel that's even reflected in the "main" weapon you use in both games with the shotgun and grenade launcher, they fit each game's flow very nicely

If there's some way to get access to the gyroscope on the 3DS while playing a GBA game then that would be a really good method because there are 3DS capture cards out there.

You forgot one. Dolphin emulating GBA player with a wiimote for gyro. That's honestly probably the best way to do this.

Android has scrcpy for transferring video to your PC. Over USB its got very very low latency. A modded switch with retroarch and sysdvr would do the trick as well. And is more commonly available than a Vita.

I feel it solves the accessibility problem and the footage problem and is only slightly off from the hardware feel if it works But maybe it's not compatible yet

The most practical answer, one of those Android Handhelds like the RG405V. Just load up the game in MYBOY and use a screen recorder and since the handheld has a gyroscope you are off.

I played warioware twisted on my iphone 6 with a sideloaded emulator, and a second time on my 3ds. One of which is a nightmare because apple hates you when you do this and will fight you tooth and nail, and the second one suchs because 3ds capture isn't real

FINALLY!!!! SOMEONE AKNOWLEDGED WARIOWARE TWISTED'S EXISTENCE!!!! Jokes aside, I generally use the Delta emulator for iOS. It works great, and I generally dont have much issues. (btw warioware twisted is miles better than warioware inc and you cannot change that fact)

small thing on playing it on a phone emulation, you can use a bluetooth controller for phones that you can have the phone attached at the controller, and you wouldn't have deal with the ui on the screen taking up space!

idk if it’s currently possible but it would be sick if you could emulate the game on pc with a gyro controller and do some shenanigans to make the game view rotate with the gyro of the controller to be able to play it outside of a handheld form factor

Actually there are homebrew emu for Wii with motion support. But capturing analog video may be a hassle (if quality is important), vWii mode of WiiU would give you native hdmi output. Alsow there are homebrew emu for switch that allows you to use motion controls and given that you have means to run it you may use other homebrew to stream video to pc throw wifi without capture card (which is pretty handy, especially when using switch lite). Oh, and in comparasing with Vita Switch doesn't drop framerate in minigames)

PS4 DualShock controller or the Steam Deck would work really well for emulation as they have gyroscope and in the DualShock’s case it is relatively affordable and compatible with your PC.

I feel like just pointing a camera at the screen is the best way of doing it, because it actually captures the movement of the console. Maybe mod an original GBA with an IPS screen?

Idk if anyone has suggested it yet but there is another way. If you have a modded 3DS you can put a rom of WarioWare Twisted and it would get read by the 3DS since it uses a newer version of the CPU used in GBA or smth like that. It's not emulation and it has been done by Nintendo for the ambassador program.

Getting a copy of the game is expensive to begin with. If you buy a NA copy, you might as well go all out in the recording method

Watching this video I thought of an absolutely deranged hypothetical method for capturing this game. Using a BlueTooth adapter you can connect a Wii Remote to your computer. The Wii Remote has a built in Gyroscope. All you'd need to do is find a GBA Emulator that's compatible with the Wiimote's Gyroscope and BADABING You've officially got ANOTHER convoluted method for Capturing WarioWare Twisted.
